I am so thrilled that ‘Love Letter’ has been selected for 2023 Piccolo Spoleto Juried Art Exhibition and currently on display at City Gallery, Charleston through 7th May 2023.

The story behind this work: 

I have always wanted to do a painting with text. Last year when I met Terry Rettig, he told me he writes poetry. I took that opportunity and asked him, with an art project I had in mind, to write me a poem.He surprised me by creating a poem in a matter of days. (He now says he felt that  I kind of challenged him). I wasn’t sure back then if I could make the vision happen. But I knew I would try! A special collaborative project for V-Day took birth. There are 9 panels corresponding  to the 8 lines of the “Love Letter” poem.
